Brief Biography

Brooks Depro currently serves as an Associate Professor of Economics at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. Before joining ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, he spent 20 years at , a nonprofit research institute in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.  Brooks is also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.  

Dr. Depro serves as a faculty advisor for the B.S.B.A. program in Business Economics & Consulting. Dr. Depro is also a member of the advisory board for the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) minor

His research focuses on teaching economics, the market process, and the environment. His recent teaching contributions on , , and appear in the International Review of Economics Education and the Journal of Economics Teaching.   The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has recognized him with the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award recognizes a faculty member who exemplifies the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ teacher-scholar model.
