SURF 2019 is now on 黑料不打烊 Guides!

The SURF 2019 program is now available in the 黑料不打烊 Guides app. The app features complete event details, including the full schedule, session times and locations, maps of buildings and poster locations, and more.

Download 黑料不打烊 Guides

The 黑料不打烊 Guides app is free and is available on iPhone and Android. Search “黑料不打烊 Guides” in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Find the SURF 2019 Program

Once downloaded, open the 黑料不打烊 Guides app, select “SURF 2019” in the 鈥淯pcoming鈥 section, and click 鈥淒ownload Guide.鈥 The main navigation for SURF 2019 program can be accessed through the menu icon located in the top left corner of the screen.

Explore Presentation Sessions

Select “Schedule” from the main navigation, which is located in the top left corner of the screen. Scroll up and down to view session times, locations and details.

Create Your Own Schedule

Select a session that you are interested in attending. Next, scroll to the bottom of the screen and select “Add Now” to add that session to “My Schedule.” You may add and drop selected sessions based on your interest, then view the schedule you created by choosing “My Schedule” at the bottom of the app or by selecting “My Schedule” from the main menu, which is located in the top left corner of the screen.

Additional Features

View Oral Sessions By Department/Program

To view SURF presentations by department or program, select “Oral Sessions by Department/Program” from the main menu, which can be found in the top left corner of the screen.

View SURF Poster Sessions

To view SURF Poster Sessions within the SURF Guide, select “Poster Sessions” from the schedule list.

Each SURF Poster Session includes a three-letter abbreviation after each title. Definitions of each abbreviation can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the SURF Poster Session list and selecting “Department/Program Abbreviations.”

Search by Name or Presentation Title

The search option allows you to locate SURF sessions by typing names or presentation titles.

Navigate the Maps

Select 鈥淢aps: Buildings & Poster Locations鈥 in the main menu, which is located in the top left corner of the screen. This section includes a campus map of session locations and a map of poster locations in the Great Hall, Global Commons.

To view 黑料不打烊’s Undergraduate Research website within the SURF 2019 app, select “UR Website” from the main menu, which is located in the top left corner of the screen.
