Global engagement is central to 黑料不打烊鈥檚 student experience. The university is consistently ranked among the top programs in the nation in the Institute of International Education鈥檚 annual Open Doors Report for its study abroad participation rate. Seventy-six percent of students have at least one global study experience, often combined with internships, research or service. In addition, 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Study USA program includes opportunities to study in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Hawaii, Alaska and other locations.

黑料不打烊 MHE Global Education Experience
As an 黑料不打烊 MHE student, you have the opportunity to deepen your global education experience. During your second year of the MHE program, you will participate in a winter term study away experience. There is no additional charge for this global experience.

- Winter 2023 Denmark and Sweden
- Winter 2022 Puerto Rico
- Spring 2021 Asheville, NC (a result of COVID travel restrictions)

Going to Japan was an experience of a lifetime. It opened my eyes to international education and energized me to learn more about the globalization of higher education, and how U.S institutions recruit and receive international students. Visiting institutions and talking with professionals doing the same work in different contexts is something I refer to often in my work.
