  4. Participate on and engage with relevant implementation structures.

Teacher-Scholar-Mentor Model

  1. Support an integrated Teacher-Scholar-Mentor development model that spans across the faculty career and responds to the distinct challenges and opportunities of different career stages.
    1. Support the work of the Mentoring Design Team Exploratory Working Group.
      1. Explore how the Teacher-Scholar Statement can support and recognize faculty mentorship efforts.
  2. Continue progress of Academic Council initiatives related to faculty groupings and promotion.

    2. Lecturer Track Special Committee
    3. Promotion and Tenure Task Force
      1. Appoint and support the Faculty Rank Working Group to develop an implementation plan that supports the ongoing success of full-time faculty members.
      2. Receive and review the Promotion and Tenure Task Force Report.
    4. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Shared Governance

  1. Continue to progress Academic Council initiatives related to shared governance and contributions to the life of the university.
    1. Shared governance information sessions during planning week
    2. Enhance committee documentation
    3. Clarify election procedures
    4. Academic Council- Administrative relations in a historic time of transition
    5. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion within the shared governance system
